Depending on the type of metal objects to be restored, we generally differentiate between 2 different repair methods: Method 1 Use for metal alloys where soldering or welding processes are possible: The well-known lost wax process is used to fill in defects. Breakpoints are permanently either soldered or welded, depending on the alloy. The surface finish is our greatest strength. If you want to see your defective metal objects exactly as before, without any traces of restoration, then this method is just right for you. Method 2 Use for very old metal objects: With many older metal objects, soldering or welding is no longer possible. In this case, we work to fill in imperfections with artificial metals. Break points are cold-welded. We have continuously developed the techniques over the years and they have proven to be very effective. Our artificial metals are deceptively similar to the originals (bronze, brass, copper, tin, etc.), bond with the old metal permanently and in most cases more stable or more resistant than the old metal. Above all, our metal restorations are absolutely invisible. We are able to invisibly restore almost any damage to metal objects. We would be happy to provide you with a non-binding cost estimate.
